I was browsing through my notebook that I started using from 2012. It’s filled with ideas, thoughts, drawings, notes and other random scribbles. It’s very interesting to see my thoughts from a few years ago, because I was trying to find something that I wanted to do with my life. I will be sharing some […]

I can confirm, wrapped sandwiches are the best. This chicken sandwich was delicious! Filled with marinated chicken, halloumi cheese, homemade kemangi pesto and caramelised onion. With the first bite the pesto dominated, afterwards the chicken was the star. A really filling and satisfying lunch. Finally got a chance to try the matcha ice cream from @matcha_nextdoor. What a rich matcha flavour! With red beans, homemade sugar jelly and homemade dango. Pecan nuts are such a good match with the matcha ice cream. Today I will go eat at @nice.neighbourhood and I already heard raving reviews about their sandwiches. And I wonder… are wrapped sandwiches better than non-wrapped? Because these days my best sandwich experiences were all wrapped. From @bunrotterdam and from @lepetitdeli_amsterdam. Do they know something that we don’t? Did they discover the secrets of wrapping? After my South-Korea trip I started cooking Korean food. But that was 10 years ago. This weekend I ate this delicious stir fry gochujang chicken @eetbardit in Den Bosch. Aahh, brings back the old food memories. I got a mini olive tree from work. It came in this cute fancy pot and it needed to be repotted after 2 weeks. After 4 weeks I repotted the sad looking fella. Hopefully he will grow strong again in his new pot. Lazy PigBear’s first dumpling 🥟 making session. He ate raw dough, squished a few dougballs and enjoyed the skin of the cooked dumplings. Aah, homemade dumplings taste the best! Happy that the hot days are over. I was 🫠 This yellowtale sashimi of LaMian @lamianasianstreetfood 😍 sooo gooood. Video (reel) coming soon. The first time that I ate a kapsalon was in Delft around my 20s. It was nice; fries topped with kebab meat and garlic sauce.
