Here are some old stories about why I started the blog. I keep them here, because I think it’s fun to read back and see what my motivation was back then.

Why did you start this blog?
I like food. I like to take photos and to shoot videos. Food just makes me happy. So I want to share some happiness with other people by sharing my experiences in food. In the form of restaurant reviews, recipes, drawings, stories, food vlogs and other ways.
Originally my dream was to visit a lot of restaurants, write reviews and learn from them. So in the end I would start my own restaurant or cafe. But I changed my mind. Now, I just enjoy visiting good restaurants and writing about them. I also enjoy making food videos with Lazy Penguin, because it’s just so fun to work with video.
Who is Lazy Pig?
I am Lazy Pig. My last name sounds like pig. Pigs like to eat and to be lazy, so a perfect description of me.
I mostly post Asian related stories on the blog, because I love Asian food. But so now and then I will also post Western and non-Asian food related stories.
Every Friday you can expect new food story and if not, then I will make it up in the weekend.
Happy reading!

This blog is a place where I can explore anything related to food, design and stuff I like…I try to post something every Friday. If not, then I will probably post something in the weekend.

A long time ago, somewhere in 2011 I came up with a Lazy Pig, which is me and I created a logo for him: Lazy Pig Passion. I am lazy, but I want to be passionate about the things I work on.
Nowadays I want to create my own website about restaurants and cafes, because I love to visit them and to understand their concept and foods. With this website I want to show the world what kind of restaurants and cafes I have visited and what I think of them. Also for every restaurant and cafe I will create new ideas for them. Why? Because I can and I think it’s fun.
I have a background as industrial designer and I thought it would be nice to combine design with food.
